[Even if it's? Hinata's got an inkling that what he's going to say isn't a happy thing, but he smiles at him anyway, gently, shifting his arm to wrap around Komaeda's as well, his fingers grazing along the inside of his palm as they walk together.]
That's... important to me. I'm glad that you're happy.
[He leans closer to kiss his shoulder as they walk into the bedroom, and he waits, offering to take his plate so he can slide into bed.]
[Hinata knows Komaeda too well really. It isn't a happy thing, but he doesn't want to go down that road. He wants to appreciate what they have while he can. That's all. It's selfish, but he wants to anyway.]
It's important to me that you're happy too.
[Komaeda adds quietly, handing the plate over and scooting onto the bed and holding his hands out to take the plates so Hinata can do the same.] Really important.
[After doing so, Hinata settles in close at his side, fighting the urge to plunk his head down on Komaeda's shoulder out of a surge of gratitude and affection for him. Settling for just a warm smile, he resists and instead just takes his plate and starts to eat without hesitation.
Good thing about being like this, though, is that he can hook one of his legs over Komaeda's in the bed and grin a bit to himself, purposefully catching their ankles.]
[It's comfortable, just that casual, simple touch. Sometimes it hits him particularly hard that such stereotypical couple things are things that he's allowed to do, that Hinata willingly does with him.
So ducking his head with a smile, he turns his attention to his own breakfast.]

It's really great, Hajime. Thanks for cooking.
[Breakfast in bed is the very best thing.]
