[ It won't take her long-- indeed, it's probably under an hour before he'll get a knock at the door. ]

[He steps back to give her room.]

[ And she's stepping in, offering him a grin. ] I wasn't interrupting private time though, was I?

[Komaeda hums quietly, curiously before he laughs, shaking his head.] Not at all. Hinata-kun is at work just now. [Being the bread winner as he usually is.]

Perfect, then! Tea or aura stuff first?

Shall we save the tea for relaxing after our aura lesson?

[ You still look kind of frail, buddy. ]

[Is it going to be difficult? Might he fall over? But either way he motions for her to come with him so they can go sit down in the living room.

[ And maybe she's concerned he'll fall over, but shh. She'll follow along rather easily. ]

[So he will settle himself down to a seat in a comfy enough chair, looking to her expectantly.] All right, sensei! I'll try to be a decent pupil. If that's how it works.

Right now, all you have to do is close your eyes.

[No playing practical jokes on him, okay? But Komaeda is a trusting enough fellow from time to time (not really, but this seems safe enough) and he shuts his eyes as she's asked.]

[ She sighs, but she'll reach out to rest a hand on his shoulder.

And the reason she told him to close his eyes is because she'll start to glow, and so will he, in a minute, and it's a bit blinding at first. ]

[Komaeda just chuckles quietly at that. Sorry, Yang. That's who he is. He keeps his eyes shut, even as that hand settles on his shoulder, tempting as it is to peek.

And then those words and he finds himself trying to sit still and not squirm. What's going on what is this it sounds like magic and hey doesn't it seem to be getting brighter in here even with his eyes closed?] Is it working?

[ He should still be glowing. ]

Oh?

[He cracks open one eye and gasps before opening the other.] Oh! Well something is working. Is this the way that it's supposed to be?

[Is he glowing correctly?]

Perfect! You'll stop glowing in a second.

[ And she'll... lean back a little. Whew. ]

So it turns out I really do have a soul! How interesting.

[He looks at his hands, watching as the glow fades.] So... is there a step two?

You can start training with Hinata-- honestly, he caught on pretty fast, but basically, you'll need to learn how to manifest it, to use it to shield yourself, and that's a lot of work. I'll help out too, of course-- but I don't go easy.

[What? It's not something he was entirely certain of! With his talent, it's hard to know for sure!]

Well, Hinata-kun is very good at most things, you'll find. I might be a slower study, but I'll do my best anyway.

[A laugh though.] It's somehow not surprising that you don't go easy. I think I would have been shocked if it were the opposite.
