Oh I'm sure some are, without a doubt. But since all of us were brought here in the same manner and with the same explanation, maybe a lot of best interests are lining up in some way.

[Finding out the truth is probably good, right? Well, Komaeda thinks so anyway. And then when things go awfully wrong and there's murdering clowns and such, banding together seemed to be popular enough as well.]

You're probably justified in worrying. Usually if things start going wrong, CERES makes sure they go wrong completely. They are thorough at least!

[Komaeda that's not something to sound impressed by. But he nods with a smile at the next question.] I am. I'm not used to parties like this, but it's very nice, seeing everyone so festive. What about you, Naegi-kun?

[Komaeda admits, glancing around.] It's fancier than what I'm used to anyway, but I'm not used to parties in general.

[A laugh and a shrug. He's not a popular guy. Doesn't get invited to many things. Though that has been changing. Komaeda blinks a moment later though.]

[How horrifying. But that is a disarming smile even if it does belong to a small black hole of a stomach.]

Both are good, aren't they? But in this case, I think I'm in the mood for something sweet.

[Komaeda will be optimistic, since it's Hinata. He lets himself be pulled along, keeping up, keeping close. He smiles at the reminder of that party. Even if they hadn't danced, it had been a nice party, hadn't it? Spending time with Hinata always is, since all that time ago.]

Mm! It'd be a waste not to make the best of this opportunity.

[So once they're out on the floor, Komaeda steps in close, hesitating only a moment before lifting his arm and draping it around Hinata's shoulders. It's okay, right?]

[Komaeda doesn't mind amusement, especially if it comes with help! He could probably manage to get his hand back with effort and sheer dumb luck, but it might have taken him most of the night. And cost him a fair number of cuts and bruises or worst.

So he does appreciate the help, even if the sudden lightning strike has him jumping. He can't help it. He's skittish. His luck and being struck by lightning seem like a dangerous combination. But the lightning hits the tree, and that's much better.]

Aaah! That's really amazing!

[But yes then there's tossing, and he will try to catch it. But let's just face it, it's going to smack him straight in the, well, face. Yes. Ouch. But no okay he's good. Let him just pick this up.]

That's entirely possible. Though it's hard to say if there was anything entirely benevolent about that CEO either. At least he didn't outright murder someone to take powr -- that we knew of anyway.

[Who knows what happened before they got here, right? But that's morbid too. Komaeda shakes his head and leans into Hinata as they drive on more.] I think we should try to find out more about them though. That has to be important.
