I want to. [At once. Hinata lifts an eyebrow at him.] No matter which one of us had--ooh--longer days...

[He's sagging again underneath Komaeda's fingers, sighing lowly, his head leaning forward this time, his neck one smooth line. His eyes close once more as he soaks in Komaeda's attention and his fingers.

Luck... more like SHSL masseur...]

Well. Somehow it seems against my best interest to argue against having Hajime's hands on me.

[He's just saying. That's like his favorite thing ever. It's actually managed to nudge "hope" out of its top spot. Though in fairness, with the realization and remembrance of their pasts and despair and hope and all they've wrought, well, it faltered a little. Still right up there. Still important, even if his approach to it has shifted.

Not that he's thinking much on this. Instead he's concentrating on the feeling of Hinata's muscles beneath his fingertips.

Also that pretty neck, well, he leans in to press a kiss to the nape of his neck.]

[Give him a second here, Komaeda, Hinata's busy groaning a little, his shoulders hitching up just a bit under fingers. And even more at that kiss to the nape of his neck. He chances a look over his shoulder at him, a little red-faced.]

...Mmf. Then, we can switch now.

[It's his turn now!]

[Red faced is like a bonus. It's really a cute look on Hinata. Komaeda draws back as he sees him turn though, eyebrows lifting.] Oh? Already?

[Well he's not going to argue anyway. Instead his hands shift up to ruffle through Hinata's hair before he sits back against the couch nodding.] Then, I'm ready! Where should I sit?

[What way is best?]

[Shh. Leave him and his red face alone.

Hinata nods at the already because maybe he wants to have a look at that ponytail while he's at it but that's a secret. He chuckles as his hair is ruffled and pushes himself up to his feet.] Any way is fine. Just get comfortable.

[And he'll do the rest.]

[He can't it's adorable. But lucky for Hinata, Komaeda is distracted by moving to settle himself to a seat, cross-legged, back to Hinata. He peeks back over his shoulder with an expectant, eager smile.

Hooray massages from his boyfriend. This is way better than any of his good luck could ever manage to be okay?

He will discover that interest in the ponytail, Hinata. Don't think he won't.] I'm comfortable! But you're going to make me more comfortable, right?

[Hinata moves to settle behind him, kneeling, smiling when he glances back and placing his hands on Komaeda's shoulders. He starts to knead, pressing his thumbs up along the back of his neck first, over where his hair usually covers.]

That's what I'm planning on.

[He laughs but, now that he's thinking about it...] Hey, Nagito... it might be a little off topic, but I wanted to talk about something with you.

[Komaeda almost immediately melts beneath that touch, a soft pleased sound slipping past his lips before he even realizes it. Oooh it's good already. His eyes start to droop shut and he's about to disappear into enjoying the touch entirely.

Then Hinata speaks and he blinks his eyes open to peek back over his shoulder again.]

Hmm? Of course. WHat do you want to talk about? [Komaeda will listen! Is something wrong though? Did he do something wrong?]

[Hinata keeps massaging, gently pressing his fingers against his neck to encourage him to look back forward when he looks back. No moving! Stay still! He's working his fingers against the muscle of his shoulders, expression focused.]

Mostly about us, and... everyone who just got here.

[He settles palms on Komaeda's shoulders for a moment, to warm them. His expression's become pensive.] When we're going to tell them that we're dating. [Because... hiding something like that isn't an option.

Despite everything, despite knowing how the others feel about Komaeda, they're still his friends and Komaeda's important to him. And he wants for them to come to understand one another or, at the very least, give each other another chance. Because he knows, after months, a year and more with Komaeda, that things can change. People can change.

--he wants them to see it, too.]

[Komaeda turns his head forward again, eyes drifting shut once more. Okay yes he'll stay still keep that up, Hinata. It feels really good. He's melting entirely beneath the touch. Soon he'll be a Komaeda-shaped puddle of goo.

Though the conversation catches his attention and for a moment he just hums softly in acknowledgment.]

When? [He echoes quietly.] Then you want to let them know?

[Really he's mostly just happy that Hinata still wants to be with him, even with reminders of their past showing up and people who dislike him as much as they do. But then, Hinata's a good person. Definitely too good for him.]

Won't that be troublesome for you though?

[The person that he is, that he has been, Komaeda doesn't blame his classmates (or anyone) for wanting nothing to do to him.] Though thinking about it, Hanamura-kun already seems to know.

Eh.

[Hinata's fingers still with surprise.] Hanamura? But... [How? He's pretty sure he would remember mentioning it, and by Komaeda's wording he doesn't remember either.]

How does he...?

[...But, in the end. Hinata shakes his head.] They were going to find out eventually anyway, I guess. I don't want to hide it from them. And... I want you guys to be able to come to understand each other.

[Like he came to understand Komaeda.]

He said something about a little bird.

[Whoever that may be. They haven't kept it a secret exactly, but Komaeda doesn't think many people actually know right?

Komaeda peeks back over his shoulder again, quiet for a moment as he looks at Hinata. He really doesn't want to hide it? There's a moment where he hesitates before scooting around to face him.] I don't know if anyone will really want to understand me except for you. Even back on the island, you're the only person who ever really spoke to me, despite everything.

[A pause, thoughtful more than anything else.] But I do want to try. And if you want to tell them that we're together... somehow that makes me happy. Is that strange?

[Hinata's expression crumples a little and he leans forward, arms wrapping about Komaeda's neck, dragging him close into an embrace.]

Of course it's not strange, moron. It's normal to be happy about telling people. It's supposed to be happy.

[It's just... a little complicated with them. With everyone.] I want you to be happy, and I don't want to hide what you are to me. Sorry, if it ever seemed troublesome or like I wanted to hide it...but it's not either of those things. [He's apologising for how he's been shy about it, private as Hinata tends to be with these sorts of things, but in the end:] I'm proud that we're together.

[Komaeda blinks in surprise as he's suddenly pulled into that hug. BUt that's fine by him. His own arms lift to wrap around Hinata in turn, holding tightly. He smiles as he's called a moron -- what? it's like a petname at this point -- but his expression falters when Hinata continues.]

Hajime...

[Hinata is really proud of it? That they're together? Even if it's with him? This is the sort of sweet sentiment that Komaeda never really knows how to handle it. So he can feel his face heating, a flush rising in his cheeks. And he turns to press his face to Hinata's neck, shaking his head.] You don't have to apologize, you know. I am a troublesome person, after all. [He is. But he's trying!] I'm proud to be with you too. Really proud.

You lose a point for calling yourself troublesome.

[Hinata mutters into his hair, burying his face against the side of his head. His hands squeeze at Komaeda's back, fingers pressing him close and how warm he is... Plus, he thinks he can feel the heat of Komaeda's face.

Ahh, it really is these kinds of things that make Komaeda blush.]

We'll mention it whenever we want, then. I'm... not going to keep it to myself just 'cause I'm being stupid and shy about it anymore.

Aaah... even in a sentimental moment, you're being strict.

[Komaeda answers, a sulky tone to his voice. But it's clearly not serious becuse he's being held so close, can feel Hinata leaning into his hair. He's too happy right now to really sulk.

But not to really blush. So he's keeping his face pressed right to Hinata's neck still, nuzzling in all the closer.] Mm. Whenever we want. I like that. [But, for the record,] It's kind of cute when you're shy though.

[Of course he's being strict! Out of love.

Hinata laughs quietly into his hair and shifts a hand to pluck at the pale pieces of it, running his fingers through them.] ...I'm still gonna work on getting less shy, though.

[Then Komaeda can't tease him as much!]

[Jeez. That sort of strictness how is he supposed to get away with anything? No fair at all! The hands in his hair are a good consolation prize though, and Komaeda will just enjoy it for a moment, that touch.

Eventually he lifts his head even if the faint blush is still visible in his cheeks.] I'm sure you can manage it if you try.

[But teasing is so much fun. So sad. He leans in to steal a quick kiss, brief and fleeting but brimming with affection.] I love you.

[Hinata brightens slightly at his blush. There it is. His prize. He moves to kiss one of Komaeda's pink cheeks with a pleased laugh, pulling away just in time for Komaeda to brush that kiss across his lips.]

I love you too. [It's so easy to say, but it still makes him feel all warm and overcome with emotion.

His hands shift, sliding down to shoulders, squeezing gently. He really set them off topic from the massaging.]

[What no this is not a prize. How cruel! But okay there's kissing his cheek and that's pretty great, so he can't be exactly unhappy about it. Instead he just beams as Hinata returns those words.

Because it's still so startling to him sometimes that Hinata means those words. To him.]

Thank you, Hajime.

[For loving him. For not wanting to hide it. Even if it interrupted massages, he's really happy about it all.]

[Hinata's nose scrunches, amused, and he kneads his hands down along Komaeda's shoulders and down his arms, affectionate.]

You're thanking me, huh...

[Well, since we're at it.] Thank you too, Nagito. [For giving him a chance, for looking out for him, for loving him, for so many things.]

[Komaeda leans closer, more or less draping himself against Hinata now, leaning into him. Probably too into him. Probably enough to topple Hinata backwards, but that's probably his plan anyway.]

Is there a reason to thank me?

[They're both such a mess really.] If there is you're welcome, Hajime. Of course. [He's teasing now.]

W-wa-- [Wait he goes to say but he's being toppled backward anyway, landing on his back on the couch with a small oof, looking up with surprise. Then, even as his eyebrows furrow, he slides his hands up along Komaeda's arms, kneading his fingers as he goes. A pseudo-massage.]

I've got a bunch of things to thank you for. I'll list them out for you sometime.

[But he's not thanking him for toppling him over, just so you know!]

[No he's not going to wait! Because while he didn't intend to tip them over, landing on top of Hinata is pretty nice, and Komaeda peeks down at him now, blinking before smiling. He leans down to plant a kiss on Hinata's nose before he goes and snuggles his way under his chin.

Yes good keep up the pseudo-massage. He'll be right here basking in the attention.]

I could make a list of my own too. But it might take some time to finish. [IT'd be long okay?]

[Hinata feels his cheeks reddening as Komaeda kisses his nose, only to just... snuggle under his chin like that ugh Hinata's heart is melting. He slides his hands up to shoulders, still kneading at them with his fingers, rubbing his thumbs against muscle.]

Same here, you know. There're a lot of things...

[He trails off because he's distracted... he moves his hand around to flick at Komaeda's ponytail lightly. Baff.]
